    Green Tea is extracted from the leaves and buds of Camellia Sinensis without withering or oxidation process, originated from China in the 1st millennium BC and spread to East Asian countries.

    What Is Green Tea?

    Green tea, along with black tea and oolong tea are extracted from Camellia Sinensis but vary in the preparation methods. To obtain Green Tea, leaves from the plant are steamed, pan fried and dried without fermentation while Black Tea is fermented leaves and Oolong tea is partially fermented leaves.

    Green tea and its extract are promoted as dietary supplements that help in losing weight, reducing blood cholesterol.

    Green tea due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory nature promotes hair growth, reduces hair loss by soothing the scalp. For skin too it showers its wonders by fighting acne, reduces inflammation and controls excess oil secretion.
